I ventured into the Ulster Museum this week for a short morning culture hit, and was absolutely blown away by the"Putting on the Glitz" exhibition, which hosts a variety of styles of evening dresses from the turn of the 20th century through to present day. Being a bit of an all-things-Victorian-and-Edwardian junkie, the earlier styles attracted my attention:
The colours of this are so beautiful!:
The shawl on this mannequin was so exquisite! It really is a work of art!
And although the sequins were a bit "much" for my taste, the cut of this evening gown is so flattering!
Reinforces to me that I was born in the wrong era! :)
